“Shocking”: Susan Wojcicki’s son, 19-year-old, the former CEO of YouTube, was found dead at UC Berkeley

Marco Troper, son of former YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki, passed away, he was nineteen only. Susan Wojcicki, recently, stepped back from her role after 25 years with Google.

As per a UC Berkeley spokesperson, Troper was found unconscious in his room on Tuesday afternoon.

                       
After he was discovered about 4:23 p.m. local time, the Berkeley Fire Department notified campus police that they were “attempting life-saving measures” on Troper, according to a statement obtained by PEOPLE from the University of California Police Department, Berkeley.

Campus police is investigating the cause of death, but they said there were no signs of criminal activity.

Trooper’s grandmother, Esther Wojcicki, believes the death happened due to a drug overdose.

                       

“He consumed a drug, that’s all we know, we don’t know what was it.”

“Esther also said he was very intelligent in mathematics .”

She posted on Facebook on Thursday that “she and the whole family are shattered.”
